PLOMO - JOURNEY OF A BULLET
Plomo is a VR experience that get the audience in a protest situation in Venezuela, in which audience are the bullet and they have a panoramic moment to observe all the view before bullet hit its target
My role in that project was a technical director. I am honored to join the team of Plomo in the second half of production to make sure that all camera movement, all animation, all environment and character scales are matching together and avoiding any distortion can be caused due to variation of position, scale, and slow-motion bullet action. The Director Giulia Jimenez and I used great tricks and we got really creative in challenge solving. And we realized the exact feeling and vision this project had from the beginning.
I Also did the animation of the main character's eye, bullet reflection and all possible small details to make the audience feel the fear at the moment of contact. Thanks to the director, texture artist, lighter, motion graphics and all the amazing effort of all the team, we made sure that these last moments in the piece become as truly believable as we can.
